The total births in the above boroughs amounted to 4G2, against 400 in February, bdng an increase of 060. The deaths amounted to IS3 in March, an increase of 20 on the number for February. Of the above deaths, males contributed 101, females S2. 10S of the deaths were children under five years of age, being 59.02 per cent, of the whole number. 7l> of these were children under one year of age. !
