Owen, for Lytteltou : 123,000 feet timber. The Union S.S. Co.'s s.s. Taiaroa steamed for Southern ports at 10 o'clock yesterday morning. The brigantine Ada C. Owen is expected to sail for Lyttelton, with a cargo of sawn timber, to-morrow or Frichy. The Government s.s. Steiln, arrived from Kaipara and other Northern ports yesterday, hut has not yet como up to the wharf. The Union S.S. Co.'s s.s. Penguin, which left Pert Chalmers on Monday, will take the place of the s.s. Wanaka. on the West Coast while the latter is undergoing an overhaul.
