There is no doubt the Sydney Exhibition lias largely benefited New Zealand, not only by the reports taken home by the numerous visitors who have been delighted with the scenery in this province, but it has drawn to our shores representatives of large manufacturing houses from the old country, anitmpressed them with the importance of fosterin trade in this colony. Some beautiful specimens of workmanship in well-finished iron and brass bedsteads, from the Sydney Exhibition, aro now on view at the City Hall Arcade. They were exhibited by tho world-renowned firm of Peyton and Peyton, of Birmingham, who gained the highest award. These prize bedsteads were purchased by Messrs. Garlick and Cranwell, who now offer them for sale at as moderate prices as their ordinary stock, to . clear them off quickly. Messrs. Garlick and Cranwell have also lately introduced tho "Koslyn" blankets and flannels to this market, which are the best-finished and most sightly colonial manufactared goods offered in thiii tcwn.
