Grey Momus, Shillelagh, Banjo, and Loch Lomond, also started. Clarence was the only horse in the race who made no mistake, the others either falling or baulking. The race was won easily. The Agent fell at the second and last fence from home, but he could not have won. Maiden Steeplechase, 50sovs. 2£ mile?. Weight for age. Mr. D. H. Bradley's Miss Hungerford (Owner) ... .. 1 Mr. Osborne's tlobin Hood ... ... 2 Air. McKay's Leap 1 ear (Owner) ... 3 It was won easily. Selling Steeplechase, 25sovs. Mr. McKay's Leap Year ... ... ... 1 Mr. Butler's Stella ... ... 2 Mr. Osborne's Johnny ... 3 CONSOLATION, oOdOVS.
