Arrangement of cases :— Zymotic, 31 ; constitutional, 9 ; local, 38; developemental, 16 ; violent, 8. Thanks are returned to Mis 3 Badham, the Mayor and Council, and Dr. Stockwell, for a number of books, magazines and illustrated papers. Old linen is very muoa required for use in the hospital. The following is the state of Her Majesty's Gaol, Auckland, last week:—On remand, 3 males ; awaiting trial,(2 males, 2 females; penal servitude, 31 males; hard labour, 84 males, 30 females ; imprisonment, 3 males ; default of bail, 3 males, 2 females ; debtor, 1 mala ; received during the week, 28 males, 9 females ; discharged, 2G males, 7 females ; total in gaol, 127 malei, 34 females. Through a blunder in an office calendar, the Banks in Kumars were advertised to be closed for St. George'a Day a day before the right one. |
