The following is the state of Her Majesty's Gaol, Auckland, last week:—On remand, 3 males ; awaiting trial,(2 males, 2 females; penal servitude, 31 males; hard labour, 84 males, 30 females ; imprisonment, 3 males ; default of bail, 3 males, 2 females ; debtor, 1 mala ; received during the week, 28 males, 9 females ; discharged, 2G males, 7 females ; total in gaol, 127 malei, 34 females.
