AUSTRO-HUNGARY.
The Finance Committee of the Lower House has approved of a loan o£ 40,000,000 florins. M. Vienna Jules Strasser, cashier of the Rothschilds, has been arrested for embezzlement. He lost 509,000 florins in speculations on the Bourse. His brothers have also been arrested.
