VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.
WAIROA (SODTH).. , The return rifle match between the Pukekohe and Wairoa Rifles took place at the Pukekohe rifle range (12 men a-side) on Monday and Tuesday, the 26th and 27th of April. Major Harris was in charge of the firing. Snb-Lieutenant Kerr, of Wairoa, and Sergeant Morrow, of Pukekohe, was in charge of the butts, and did the marking, to the satisfaction of both teams. The Wairoa team returned their sincere thanks for the hospitable manner they were treated by the Pukekohe team. The shooting was good on the whole, as the subjoined scores will show :—
