The City Council offices are to bo closed today and Friday. Tho progrnmmo of the Awitu horse races, to be run on Boxing Day, appears in our advertising columns. There aie, in all, seven races on the programme. Mr. W. Percival will receive nominations for the Cambridge Jockey Club summer meeting. The nominations close on the 27 th init.
