HUNTER AND NOLAN'S SECOND WOOL SALE.
Messrs. Hunter ami Nolan's second wool salo of the season was held at the Durham Sale Yards yesterday. There was a full attendance of buyers, ar.d, notwithstanding the somewhat unsatisfactory nature of the last telegram from the Home and Mercantile Agency of London, the previous prices were fully unstained. Wool in giease ranged from S£d to the average being and ; washed wool also found purchasers at well-sustained Ggures, ranging according to quality from 11 (it which two parcels of live bale* were withdrawn) to 9£d. A large number of lots changed hands at from to lOj-d and 10 ). The total number of bales is 150 and with the exception of the two lots already referred to. the whole of the lots were cleared at prices apparently satisfactory to the owners. After the wool sale a number of bags of locks and pieces were offered and purchased at fair prices. The following is the result of the wool sale: — U.
