We observe that Mr. Ricaardi, who has been so successful as a public singer and teacher of music, not only here but throughout the colony, announces his intention of receiving pupils at Mr. Hoffman's pianoforte establishment, Quetn street. The sixth annual session of the Grand Lodge of New Zealand of the Independent Order of Templars will be held at Christchurch on Tuesday, tho Sch imtant. We observe from the published business sheet that the session, which will probably last several days, has a very large amount of business to transact. There are 71 recommendations to the Grand Lodge to bo considered and 19 notices of motion, including that raising the question of dual membership of this lodge and tho Grand l odge of the World, a matter "which has excited the members very greatly.
