CHURCH OF ENGLAND CONCERT. A coxcert iu aid of the funds of Christ's Church cauie of oil Friday evening, 2sovem« ber 2S, in the scaool-hoase, lower township. It was known some days before that thj committee were making very great exertions to have everything first-class, and after the success of Friday evening, those who ha I the work of £j'.-ttiug' up the aifuir must have been highly gratified. There can be no doubt the good people of Coromaudel have had a treat they will not soon forget. Our old friend and favourite Mrs. Stamer, who is a host in herself, and Mrs. Page, another old friend, came from Aueklaud specially for the occa sion. It is needltss to say they were received enthusiastically. They wer also very ably seconded by our best local tal:ut.
