ST. STEPHEN'S PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, PONSONBY.
A meeting of the committee of management took place at this church yesterday evening, for the purpose of renting sittings for the half-year ending June, 18S0. The building is fast approaching completion. Every effort is being made to finish the interior, as it is intended to have the first service in the chursh on the last Snnday of this year. The church committee will be present evory Monday evening, so that anyone who may deaire sittings, and who was not able to attend last night, can meet them for that purpjse. There is a good deal of work yet remaining to bo done on the outeide, on the tower and elsewhere ; but this, if not completed by the time the church ie open for Divine service, can be finished afterwards.
