THE GOLDFIELDS.
[by telegraph, own correspondent.] TnAMES, Monday. ALBURNIA. The final cleaning-up and retorting for this company took place to-day, and produced 1330z5. of gold. This brings the grand total for the month up to 31010z3. of gold, which is the largest monthly return the company have ever had. The prospeats of the mine are still very good, and an excellent return may be expected next month. There has been very little business done in the sharemarket to day. Alburnia, buyers, 72s 6.!. The gold returns for tho month are 5943 ounces. Coromasdf.l, Monday. Pride of Tokatea. —Collins, tributer, lodged 39ozs. from a few tons of general stuff and a parcel of picked stone. Mayfield had a crushing of about 14 tons of goo"d stuff and 1001b*. of specimens. Bismarck. —A serious accident has occurred to the pumping machinry. The mine is looking well iu the stopes.
