CHRISTCHURCH. June 27. —The grain market is inactive, and business during the week has been by no means of an extensive character. Wheat, 3s Gd to o's 3J ; oats, 2s 5d to 2s Gd for first-class feed ; potatoes, 70s to 755. Grass-seed: Several large parcels changed hands, and first-class seed is quoted at 4s to 4s 3d. Other articles aro unchanged. The recent frosty weather is expected to cause a rise in the price of fat cattle and sheep, as the feed will be somewhat affected.
