THE WOOL SALES.—ADVANCE IN COLONIAL.
London, June 20. Best Australian beef tallow, 31s 6d per cwt. Best Australian mutton tallow, 33s per cwt. The wool auctions closed to-day. The total quantity sold was 280,000 bales. The number of bales held over was 30,000. The bidding was animated. Colonial wool realized a halfpenny to a penny advance.
