11l another column will be found an obituary notice announcing the death of Mr. John Munro, for many years the representative of the Marsden electorate in the General Assembly. Though originally from Nova Scotia, he has been many years in thij provines and has taken us active part in the public business of the country , Though not a fluent speaker, he has had cl ear and sound views of public life and the policy best adapted for the development of the revenue of new countries, and aided in these matters by his pen as well as by his vote in the House of Representatives. He died on Sunday last, at the ripe age of nearly four seore years, after a prolonged illness. He leaves a family to mourn tbe loss of a good and exemplary parent.
