Sir,—Willyou allow us to state that the Hlt-or Miss was built about bcvju years ago, and is not, as any?ne reading your account would suppose, a new boat ? rhe builder of the Whisper has endeavoured to beat the Hcrtha, built in 1870, by J. \V. Carr (with whom Mr. Savage served his apprenticeship), and when that is done, the undersigned will be ready to build again. —Yours, «£c., J. W. Cakr and So.ns.
