The sitting of the Assessment Court for the Mount Eilcu Highway District has been postponed until the 11th instant, at 2 p.m. Mr. J. M. Meek is announced to deliver a lecture upon "The Past, Present, and tuture of New Zealand," in tho Otahuhu Public Hall, on the 10th instant. The proceeds of the lecture are to be devoted to the fund being raised for the sufferers by the Kaitangata coal mining disaster. The quarterly communication of the District Grand Lodge of Auckland, £.0., is to be held this evening in the Ne* Zealand Insurance Buildings, at half-past 7 o'clock, when all Maßt&r Maßona are invited to attend.
