The law vacation will terminate on the 10th of March next. The Supreme Court has been closed'since the 25th of January, so that thoro is nothing to record. The lon» pending litigation between the waterworks contractors has ended, having gone through arbitration which awarded £1700 to a compromise, by which Mr. Blewden, the subcontractor, accepted £1450. In the minor Courts, very little business has been transacted. There has been no case which commanded any public interest. There have been one or two cases of blighted affection spoken of as likely to occupy the judicial ear, but the parties have appealed to the Court of Matrimony, and accepted a judgment by mutual consent.
