JMPERIAL gCHIEDAM gCHNAPPS. WOLFE V. HART. JUDGE MOLES"WORTH, OF VICTORIA HAS GRANTED AK INTERIM INJUNCTION ONLY against the Sale of Bottles with Labels and Wrappers similar to the Plaintiff's, which deoision has been appealed against, and will be heard by the FULL COURT IN SEPTEMBER NEXT. JUDGE MOLESWORTH HAS ALSO DECIDED THAT THE TRADE TERM, •' AROMATIC SCHIEDAM SCHNAPPS" is PUBLIC PROPERTY. The popularity and increasing demand for HART'S IMPERIAL SCHIEDAM SCHNAPPS Has become so great that the Proprietor, in-order to avoid the delay of law, pending his appeal, has arranged to place in the Market, in a few days, his genuine and highly esteemed "IMPERIAL .SCHIEDAM SCHNAPPS" in Bottles and Labels altogether dissimilar to "Wolfe'*, thereby conforming to the present order of the Court of Victoria, and j»reveoting any imposition on or mistake by the public. Purchasers having any of the old stock on hand can have it changed by applying to the Agents, although the result of the appeal according to the opinion of Counsel will render this unnecessary. DR. HASSALL'S REPORT. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holboin Viaduct, E. C., London, 9th May, 157". Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr. H. J. Hart. Wo have subjected a sample of the above-named articlo to a very careful chemical analrsis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth in-a separate report shew that this spirit is of irood strength, practically free from acidity, and thai it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and ajrreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr. Hart's Schiedam Schnapps i 3 a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. Hassall, M.D., Author of " Food and its Adulteration," Otto Hbuner F.C.S., Public Analyst. WM. JOHNSON'S REPORT. 1 * Government Analytical Laboratory, Melbourne, 23rd Julr, 1577. Ilcnri J. Hart, Esq., Sir,—l have the honour to report for youi information that the sample of Imperial Schiodam Schnapps forwarded by j*ou to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Cnest sample of Schnapps that has as yet come under my notice. It has a pure, fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from auy traces of fusil oil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities oi Schnapps, it is very smooth to the palate and in this respect compares favourably with other samples ofered for salc % It may be advised as equallv suitable for medical or economic purposes,—l have* the honour to be, &e., (Signed) Wii. Johnson, Analytics Chemist to the Government of Victoria. OWEN & GRAHAM. MERCHANTS, FOR AUCXUXK.
