PORT ALBERT AGRICULTURAL SHOW.
fl'En TELEGKA.ru FROM WARKWORTII.] riiE Agricultural Show of 1579 came off tolay (February 27th) at tho show grouDda, Port Albert. It proved as successful as any >f our previous exhibitions. Horses, cattle, rail sheep were, for the most part, good, and iome superior. The produce, and particularly fruit, was, on the whole, excellent, ind not a little of it fiist-class. It was 'omewhat surprising that but so little of it was affected by the long drought. The committee, to whom great credit is due for the general excellence of all the arrangements are Messrs. J. W. C. Smith, A. Neal, John Becroft, G. Dibble, and G. Plummer, the able secretary. The stewards for live stock were Messrs. T. Marcroft and R. Cutforth ; for produce, Messrs. G. Plummer, B. M. Gubb, L.
