ANOTHER ARCTIC EXPEDITION.

A fact that seems to have osciped general att-ntion is the leaving of a party of explorers from Indiauapolis for the North Pole. They intend to procced to the Ked Hirer of the North and desceud said river as far as I'embina. There a small steamer will carry the exploring party as far north as navigation will permit. They will then proceed as best as they cau to Fort York, on the west side of Hudson Bay, in about 58 degrees north latitude. At this point they will put their boats together, carried in seetious, and push as far north as O'O degrees before going iuto winter quarters. The Governor-General of Cauada, it is understood, has received instructions from the Home Government in Great Britaiu to aid the expedition in every possible way. A band of 50 tried Esquimaux trappers and tishermen are engaged to accompany the explorers, thoroughly equipped for the voyage with trained dogs, sledges, reindeer, £c.
