Ironmongery, &c. gPECIAL NOTICE TO FARMERS. REAPERS AND BINDERS ON SALE BY THE UNDERSIGNED. VESSEL NOW DUE. HARVESTER KING AM) MARSH HARVESTER, BY GAMMON AND DEEKING. Thcso Celebrated MACHINES, now brought to the highest state of perfection, have, during the last season, been remarkably successful in Americ a, and are found to surpass all others in Lightness of draught, combined with strength Simplicity of construction Freedom from breaknge Rapidity and excellence of werk. The Binder is undoubtedly the most simple and efficient yet made, and the travelling bars are a decided improvement on canvas or rubber bands. The Acrents specially solicit the inspection of intending purchase s, and are prepared to supply the most ample testimony in favour of these Machines. EXTRACT FROM NEW YORK TAPER, THE HARVESTER KING.—We call the special attention a to this splendid Rcapinsr Machine, manufactured by Messrs. Gammon and Dcerin?, of Chicago, and which we believe superior to any other known or exported from the State*. The Reaper is made to cut either a f> or 6-foot suoih, is drawn easily by two horses, has no side draught, is less liable to get out of order, and, should it do so, is moro readily and cheaply repaired than any other machine made. It is most simple in construction, and less liable to break binding-wire than ordinary reapers, and if wire does break, threads its own needle while in action, while others stop to re-adjust. Will bind its 6heaf tiifhter than other reapers, and uses one wire instead of two. THE CRANE AUTOMATIC BINDER attachment connccted with it, weighing about 3901b5., is made of i 011 and steel. Th s can be attached or detached in a couple of minutes. Generally, the mcehanism of this ma« l.'i;;e is so simple that any intellig-i'.* farmer can reauily understand and majiago it after on* inspection. It can be oj*erated easily by a man and a boy. though its binding tables and stands are so arranged that three men can bind upon it, should this be d«sired with ho vy giain. The Binder also will take care of the widest swaths. It is further guaranteed to cut several acres moro per day than any other Reaper, and the twistinff and cutting work, which is the most delicate operation in binding, is reduced by Deering's machine to the minimum of simplicity. The sale and demand for this Reaper in the United States, during the last two years, ban considerably exceeded that of any other manufactured. In competition. all over the country, particularly with MeCormick's and other best-known machines, competent judges have i"variably declared it to be " incomparably the best, cheapest, strongest, lightest, and most reliable Reaper offered for sale in the United States of America, and decidedly superior to McCormick's machinc. Justly entitled, therefore, to its name, the ' Harvester King.'" E. PORTER & CO., WHOLESALE & RETAIL IRONMONGERS, Auckland, AGENTS FOR NORTH ISLAND.
