The trademustered in full force, and bidding was brisk throughout, the whole of the goods selling at capital prices. E. and H. Isaacs fiend the following report of their extensive, auction sale on to-day, consisting of tobacco, cigars, teas, and general groceries : The prices realised wcro very saliufactory, especially as the commercial matters just now arc rather critical, and probably similar goods may be forced into the market. On tho whole, returns were fully up to the mark. Tho quantity nold amounted to about £2000. July 2U.

The Kale of fruit per Bella Mar}-, at Mr. li. Arthur's mart, to-day, w.« wall attended, but tity offered, the prices realised, upon the whole, were unsatisfactory. Fruit of fair sizo and quality sold at ljd to M per lb. A very largo Amount wan so small in sizo and inferior in quality that, had the market been very bare, it would have been difficult to sell, and on tho present occasion several linou of apples wore passed. From the recent largo shipment oi Bella Mary it would appear that Hob.-ir- Town skippers think we can consume any amount they like to send. The quality appears to deteriorate, as that which ban been »cnt here this senuoii i-s nothing like .10 gord as was formerly sent. If. half the quantity of good fruit had been received, three times tho amount of cash would have been returned. Tho following arc the pricus at which linos sold :—French crabs, y.l tc '2M ; Wellington pippins, Jd to -JtM ; Stone pippins, id to 2}d ; Stunner pippins, to'.Mi I'onriiiaiiis, f,d to 1.-, M ; nonpareils, 111 to 1-id : Pearson's plate, Jd to ljd; winter ribstones, lid; crows'eggs, Jjd; New York pippinx, ljd to 2d ; golden Hnrvcys, _Jd to M ; golden russettii, id to 'lid ; Joliiinon's keepers, lid; lemon pippins, Jd ; gooseberry pipi>ins, lilenheim oranges, jjd to ljd ; onmgo russet ts, Pears, in good order, Jd to tyd— a large quantity sold at a few ponce per cane ; also some lines of apples, being in ouch bad order. Messrs. E. and H. Isaacs held an estemive sale of JCiiglisli-mado furniture on M'eilnondr.y last, and were fortunate, considering tho dullness of times, in quitting over ±,'I2OO worth at fair prices. The attendance was large, tho trade lieius; well roincnenled. Tlio goods were well displayed and catalogued in the new buildings adjoining tliuir bond.
