The ship Oxford, Captain Yaux, entered out at the Customs yesterday, and will most probably leave port on Monday or Tuesday next. The clipper schooner Jessie Henderson, Capt. Urquhart, will leave to-morrow for Levuka, Fiji, carrying passengers and cargo. : The schooner Hinemoa, from Napier, arrived at Hokianga on Wednesday, and will load again with timber for Hawke's Bay. Masters of vessels are requested not to anchor on Saturday between the North Head and Rangitoto, as the Volunteers will be practising with shot and shell. The Auckland echooner Ada May was in Apia during the month of February, and was collecting copra, to be transshipped in the Loch Lee, lying , af Tonga. The schuoner Vailele, from hence, arrived at ;■ Apia; in .February, under the command of Captain Schulze, and is now trading to the adjacent inlands. The schooner Queen, Captain Jones, arrived from Hokianga last evening, after a prolonged passage, caused by encountericg head winds and calms. The well-known ketch Clematis, anchored at Onehungrt, is now for sale. She is of 07 tons • register, and a comparatively new vessel, being built in Tasmania in 1872. The cutter Vincent, in command of Captain Schulze, was to leave Apia for Auckland two days after the Charybdis, and may therefore snow Tip sit any moment. Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane, agents to th'o Union" Steamship Company, have received intimation that the s.s.
