THE POST-OFFICE.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I have a letter now before me returned from the Bead Letter office at Wellington, -which beara no less than, sixteen office stamps, showing what diligence has been used in trying to find out the person to whom the letter was addressed. People sometimes find fault with the Post-office, and usually on unsufficient grounds. The above is an instance which cannot be gainsaid of the care which is taken to carry out the duties of the office.—l am, Br.a, ■ D. Auckland, Fobruary 2nd, 1577.
