It would appear- that the paragraph which we republish'ed yesterday from '.the Thames Advertiser,, as to a Maori row at Te Aroha, has caused some' quite unnecessary apprehension. The natives at Te Aroha, who are making the stir, are only about some twenty or forty in number, and it ought to be kept in mind that the whole affair is a simple row amongst themselves, one small section declaring that another has got a larger part of the price than they ought to have had paid them, and that Mr. Mackay is to blame in the matter. The natives do nob deny the sale, none of them declare that the land will not be given up. The only detail not yet arianged is as to the size o£ the reserves.
