DRURY.
Oir Mondaj* evening last, the 27th instant, a very successful ball was given by the young men in Drury to their numerous friends; itj was held in the hall in Drury; a very extensive programme was gone through. The stewards were Messrs. Moyes, Mclnstry, Pollock, Blake, and Douglas. Mr. J. Mclnstry most ably officiated as master of ceremonies, the music for the dancing was moat ably supplied by Mr. Moyes of "Woodside, and Mr. Douglas, of Makitu, who come to oblige. Dancing was kept up till sunrise the following morning, when all went homewards highly delighted with their night's amusement. This is the first ball held in Drury, and the fact of everything having passed over -without a hitch, mnst be congratulatory to the stewards and others equally interested.—[Own correspondent,]
