A REQUEST TO SIR GEORGE GREY.
To the Editor of the Herjlld. Sir, —Being as I am an ardent admirer of ■ Sir George Grey's style of exposing the, flagrant injustice we hare been subjected to by the Government (pur servant as it ought to be), I think that now as there is such a. choice of Representatives for I'ranklin on Sir George's side, that it would not be u*; becoming ii> him were he to name the two candidates he would most approve of, and would assist him best. This being as may be termed a fair stand up fight, let the batant chose his seconds when there i such willingness to serve, and let the odd /• man, -whoever he is, please stand back. —I. anv &c,
Tjiakau, December 21, 1875.
