It sliall be the Duty of., Every Medical Practitioner who shall attend upon, or give Medical or Surgical advice to or about any person suffering from Sma l-pox, Cholera, or other highly : Infectious or Contagious Disease dangerous to the people, to give Notice forthwith after he shall have commenced to attend or give such advice, to the Local Board of the District within : which the person so suffering then is, and every Medical Practitioner neglecting to give such notice shall be liable to a flne not exceeding Ten Pounds. 18. When a Householder knows that a person within the house occupied by him is taken sick of Chx-lera, Small-pox, or any other highly Infectious or Contagious disease dangerous to tho people, be shall immediately give notice thereof to Hhe Local Board of tho District in which he dwells. Trior to leaving for the Waiwera I had been unable to work for four months, and was bent nearly double. All this time I was under medical treatment, which did me no gocd whatever. A use; however, of the baths has entirely cured me, and I am now completely freed from all p*in and stiffness. Winstone, of Custom-house-street, as Agents for the sale and delivery of his f ime in Auckland. .... Mr McLkod would also call public attention to the Government Analysis of his superior Lime, which yields from 00 to 07 parts of pure Carbonate of Lime to the 100. Thus, its quality being about 7 per cent, superior to ilie standard of best Limes used in Great Britain and America, it will readily be seen that one ■ part of this Lftno to four or five parts of sand will make a strong mortar, as compared witli mortar made from Limes used heretofore in this Province when made from (one) 1 of Lime, and (one) 1 of Sand; and hence buyers will see the advantage of purchasing this superior Lime, on accc.unt of the small quantity of it which will serve for any given work, such as building Parties desirous of testing the quality of this Lime will on application to Messrs. Winstone, receive gratis small samples for tests. Arrangements are now made for tho delivery of 1000 bushels per week at their yards on tho Breakwater. VTEW COLONIAL INDUSTRY. S.
