The very extensive sale of wlne3, spirits, beer cor dials, &c, &c, which ha 3 been advertised for'some time past by Messrs. E. and H. Isaacs, took place toIday, at 11 o'clock, and was not finished until foox o'clock. The attendance was very large, all the leading wine and spirit merchants and hotel keepers being well represented. Gocds to the amount of £3500 were quitted, and considering the large quantity of wines, £c, sold, good prices were'realised. Mr H S. Meyers intends holding his Anal sale (prior to'his retiring from this branch of the business) shortly before Christmas. WOOL SAXES. The first wool sales of the season were held on on Nov. 10, by Mr. A. Bnckland and Messrs. Hunter and Nolan. Only a small quantity of wool chiefly of an inferior description, was offered, so that the prices obtained cr.nnot be accepted as reliable evidence of the ruling prices of the wool market for the present season, trices were somewhat lower than last season, and bidding was dull, but this was doubtless due in part to the fact that the lots were not sufficiently large to tempt extensive exporters to bid for them. Mb. BucKLAKD'a Sale.—The wool sale held this day, at Mr. Buckland'a mart, was fairly attended by the trade and merchants. 130 bales were pitched: much of it appeared of a very dirty description, and bidding was dull.
