SUGGESTION FOR WEDNESDAY NIGHT'S MEETING.

To the Editor of the Herald. Sir,—We, the electors of Parnell, wish to put forth, —first, that, whereas we will not now give our opinion npon the Abolition of Provincial Government question, either for or against, carefully reserving any such possible opinion and ourselves, perhaps, not being unanimous upon it, we do now unanimously and earnestly say (secondly) that so large a Question as entirely revolutionising or remodelling the political constitution of New Zealand should most assuredly not be precipitately decided by a moribund Parliament, at the tail end of their very last session, a general election for the entire of New Zealand being necessarily and legally ordained after the lapse of a few months from now. We therefore submit that it is the most reasonable and the fairest possible request that could be made, aa is made, that so highly important a mntter should, if only from courtesy, be left over beyond the forthcoming general elections.—lam, &c, W. E. Sadler. Parnell, August 10, 1875.
