[Before Dr. Ilorne and H. Isai-.-s (Mayor), £;.[*., Justices.] Drunkenness. — Tlivce persons for the above oifence were punished in the usual manner. Isaac Bryant, for being an habitual drunkard, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment. City By-laws.—James Conley, for allowing two cows to wander in on the loth iust., was lined 5s and costs. 3 Thomas Knightley pleaded guilty to leaving a horse and cart unattended in YTellesleystreet. The ease was dismissed upon payment of costs. . City- Kates.—Judgments for plaintm were •riven in claims against J. O'Eegan :'Jid Birch for city rates. A number of cases were settled out of Court, aud in other cases the summonses had not been served.
