NB. -Any Tost containing tlio least .sap will lie rejected, and all posts laid 011 the lino and afterwards found in anv manner defective, or not in accordance with the specification, will be cut into two pieces by the Examining Otlicer. The Posts to he delivered along the line at points to be indicated by an Utiicer appointed by the Government. The major portion of the Posts to be twenty ,20) feet in length ; but some will be required twenty-live 12:/ feet long, to be laid at points as indirated. Posts of both the above lengths to be eight i>' inches square at the butt, and tapered to six (O; inches square at the top. The whole of the Posts to be delivered within three j [3) calendar months of the date of acceptance of [ tender, under a penalty of live pounds u:f»; to be paid | for everv working day the contract is not completed after that date.
