New Zealand Hehaijo Ot&oe. Wednesday evening. Mr. R. Arthur reports having 6old :—Canterbury bacon and hams, 7£d to 9d per lb.; Canterbury potatoes, 5s to 5s 3d per cwt.; Auckland potutoes, 4a to 5s per cwt. ; Wuiroa cheese, s|d to o£d ; Wangarei pears, Id to lid ; fowls, Is 2d to 2s 3d : turkeys, 2s to 3s 6.1. Messrs. B. Tonks and Co. Bold at their mart, to-day, the following city endowments : —Lot 7, corner of Queen-street and approach to tlie new market-house, £02 per annum ; T. W. Marsh. Lot 8, £40 per annum j A. Bell. Lot 12, corner of Cook and Grey-streets, £40 per annum ; 11. W. Stebbing. Lot 27, corner of Albert and Wellesley-streets, £32 per annum ;J. Grey. Several other lots were withdrawn. There was a fair attendance of buyers, and the bidding was very spirited throughout.
