THE FORTHCOMING VOLUNTEER REVIEW.
To tlie Editor of the Herald
Sib, —As it is usual to hold a review on tha anniversary of Her Majesty's Birthday, I feel certain, from the remarks that I have heard from many Volunteern, that it would be very desirable to hold the review on Monday instead of Saturday, the 24th. Many Volunteers hold situations in business houses which consider Saturday uftemoon and night the busiest time of the week, and as a mutter of course, ■would not be able to be present at any review. "We have also three or four Jewish gentlemen holding commission!, who would farratherturu out on any other day than Saturday, when it is not absolutely necessary, and as it is desirable on a day of thin kind to have as many present as possible, I would suggest to Major Gordon, who is at all times ready to oblige any Volunteer, " that the review bo held on Monday instead of Saturday." Apologising for trespassing on your valuable columns, —1 am, &c., Cabbimb.
