A SUGGESTION UPON THE NATIVE DIFFICULTY.

To the Editor of the Herald. Sih,—The murder of Sullivan and the course to be pursued by the Government are questions which are now agitating the public mind. It can be settled without bloodshed, and without much expense. Let tho Government send a vessel of war, without delay, to occupy Kawhiu, on the West- Coast. Occupy the place until the murderers are given up, and, if necessary, take possession of the place. The moral effect of this measure will soon be apparent.—l am, &c., A Canadian.
