We hear that our enterprising young citizen, Mr. W. K. Messenger, yesterday led to the hymenial altar a very charming young lady of this city. They are both old inhabitants — at least their parents are. Wβ -wish them much happiness. Wo understand it was one of the most elegant tura-outs that we have had in Auckland lately. The carriages were furnished by Mr. J?. Quick (fire in number), which conveyed their coetly freight to Otahuku to an excellent breakfast provided by mine host Rogers, to •which ample justice -was done. We hear also that flags were put up at Newmarket, where the carriages were stopped and a very handsome bouquet was presented to the bride by one of Mr. Messenger's men. Three cheers were give for the bride and bridegroom, and the party was once more on their way.— [ADYT.] Wβ would direct attention to the sale of Mr. R. Moore's property on the Epsom Road, to-day, at noon, by Messrs. S. Cochrane and Son. This valuable property, which is situated on the main road to Onehunge, together with the extensive improvements, will be offered ats an upset price of £1000. —[Adtt.T Messrs. B. Tonke and Co. will hold a clearing out and unreserved sale of Mr. J. Smith's stock of drapery, &c, to-day, at 11 a.m. at the shop, Upper Queen-street. —[Advt.]
