TO CORRESPONDENTS.
The communication of A. Saloon Passenger by ' the Queen- Bee, extolling the excellent arrange- ) ments of that ship, maiie by the captain for the com- ( fort of the passengers, in no way overturns our . strictures upon the general character of the vessels ' chartered by Messrs. Shaw, Saville for this port. It is . highly gratifying tn Wγ that " A Saloon Passenger" I received such srood treatment on board tho Queen Beß, . although he admits that she is "rather ancient " We ' wish the passengers arriving in the colony by other I vessels chartered by Shaw, -aville could speak in the [ same terms of eulogium, but tho very reverse his invariably been the case, even in vessels that were not " rather ancient." I Mr J. Williamson's letter, with other correspondents' communications, arc unavoidably held over, owing to an unusual pressure upon our space.
