At the Coliban half-yearly meoting, the balance-sheet and directors' report were passed; balance to good, £159, and 400 shares. The new directory are Messrs. Warmoll, Mil bank, Turtle, Roueston, and McOloughen. Owing to a misunderstanding with the Windsor Castle, the driving of the main adit is suspended pro tcm. 8 p.m. The Caledonian hare 47 ounces from 127 tons of tailings. A parcel of 50 or 60 tons from the hanging-wall leader is being crushed at the Kurauui battery, in order to test with the late crushings at. their own battery. The 40 tons from the 'J'ookcy mine, taken from under the old run of Caledonian gold, turned out very unsatisfactory, only 3 ozs. 4dots, of retorted gold being obtained.
