ONEHUNGA.
In- the Resident Magistrate's Court, on Wednesday, before C. Mellsop, Esq., K.M. the following cases were heard '' Duuskesness.—- John Pearson, for this offence, was fined in the usual sum.
iSIiEACH OF THE MUNICIPAL POLICE ACT.— James lleG-innis, Maria jMcGrinnia, and Michacl Gill, all of JPunmurc, were charged by Constable Wren with riot and disturbance in the public street on Sunday. Defendants all pleaded guily, and the Court inflicted a fine of twenty shillings each in the cases of two men, and ten shillings the woman, with costs.
Bheacii of the Peace.—Michael Kelly was charged by Francis Queenan with usin" threatening language, putting him in bodily fear—lt was a family quarrel, but tho Court considered the ease proved, and ordered tile defendant to be bouml over, himself in £10, and one surety in £10.
Civil Cask.—Davidge v. Craig.—Claim, .€■ 10a.—Judgment for plaintiff.
