Mails will el as under :— For Thames, this day, at 10.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. For Napier, ]>er .Star of the .South, this day, at 11 a.m. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Napier station will be received at this otfioe till 11.30 a.m. For Great Barrier, per Mary Ann, this da}*, at 1.30 p.m. For Russell etc., per Comerang, this day, at 3 p.m. For Gisborne, per Napier, this day, a. 11 a.m. Mails for the undermentiored places, per p.s. Nebraska, will close at this office on Thursday, 10th of August, as follows : — For .Sandwich Islands, British Columbia, United States of America, British, Central, and South America, British and Foreign AVest Indies, and Continent of Europe, via England, at 10.30 a.m. For United Kingdom via San Francisco, at 10.30 a.m For money orders and registered letters, at 'J. 30 a.m. For newspapers, at y a.m. Late letters for United States of America and United Kingdom, bearing a late fee of Ikl in addition to the postage, will be received at this office till 11 a.m., and by the Mail Agent on board the steamer up to time of sailing.
