ACCLIMATISATION.
The ship Caduceus which, arrived from Loudon yesterday, brings a valuable consignment • for the Acclimatisation Society, in the shape of a number of yellow-hammers. Two hundred and fifty of these birds were shipped m Jjondop, and a hundred and twenty-five karfr safely reached New Zealand. Out of six hares shipped at home five have arrived in eoocl condition.
