That the foregoing Races be run under the Victorian Jockey Club Rules and Regulations. No entries will be received for any of these races except upon this condition :—That all disputes, objections, claims and complaints arising out of the racing shr.ll be disposed of and decided by a majority of tlie sttwards of the Waikato Turf Club, whose decision upon all matters connected with the foregoing programme shall be final. All protests must be in writing, accompanied with the sum of £5 ss. If the protest be not sustained the amount will be forfeited.

All entries to lie made to the Secretary, or any of the Committee, on or before the 20th December, IS7O, with the name and age of the horse, name of the owner, and colour of ihe rider. Any jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined £'2. The Committee reserve to themselves the power to deduct from 10s to lSs from the added money, should the funds fall short of their requirements. A charge of admission to the course will be made on all foot passengers, saddle horses, carriages, and other vehicles. In no instance will public money lie given for a walk over ; such race will be null and void. In all races three horses, the property of separate owners, to start, or only half the added money given. Any person in arrears for stakes or subscription will be disqualified from running a horse at this meeting. No horse allowed to run unless the property of a subscriber to the race fund of at least 20s. No allowance for mares or geldings. Penalty.—ln each race where a horse has not been trained in the "Waikato and become the bona fide property of a "Waikato resident ai; least one month before the races, to carry 10 lbs. extra.
