PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.
A " Gazette" was published yesterday, by which leases are advertised to be granted to H. 0. Lawlor and 11. Kelly for the Sous of Freedom and spare ground, and to W. Korre for the Caledonia G. M. Co. ; the application for a lea<e by W. Souter, for two acres in Karaka, lias been withdrawn ; the following leases have been cancelled : T. Corbclt and W. .S. R. Brews'er for five acres on Tara'-u, adjoining Victoria Consols, and C. F. Fischer for the Faradas G. M. Co.; the Greenstone G. M. Co.'s mining lease has be.m surrendered; the following mining leases hare also been surrendered : i. Reeve, for 12 acres adjoining St. George claim, and J. D. Barnsley, for live acres adjoining Ballarat Kohinoor. The names of trustees of various Highw iy Districts are published, as well as collectors' names. Mr. Asher Aslier is appointed Fire Inspector for Auckland. Several Crown grants are ready for delivery.
