PARADISE LOST.
To the Editor of the Keualm. Snt, —It appears to me that, in the discussion upon the subject of this entertainment (?), the main question at. issue has been partially overlooked. Ts the exhibition likely to elevate and improve the moral feeling of the spectators, young and old? If so, well and good. If not, it cannot fail to have a pernicious ellee', nnd who shall dare to stand up in its behalf?— Yours, Ac, X. m To the Editor of the Herald. Sik—-In to-day's issue of your valuable journal I find the following from your Coromandel correspondent:—"Mr. Cadman's tender for the repair of the road to the upper township has been accepted." In reply I beg to state that I havo no contract nor connection with the Provincial Government. —I am, &c, Jerome Cadman. Albert-street, December 4, 18G9.
