I was not drunk. —Prisoner : I don't disown taking the things producod out of the house, but I was drunk. I did not take the other things.—Mary Dunmoro, wifo of Joseph Dunmore, residing in Barrack-etroot, deposed : I saw the prisoner in Q.ueen-street on Saturday night last between 8 and 9 o'ebek. He called mo on one side and pulled the shawl now produced out of his bosom, and asked me to pawn it (or him for four shillings. I pawned it for half-a-crown, which I gave , to prisoner. Detective Ternahan spoke to mo about the shawl, and I went and released it and gave it to him. —William Hart, deposed: On Sunday morning last prisoner canio to my house in Chancery-street. He had a email bundle witli him. The bundle contained a piece of print and a petticoat. He asked me to buy them. I gave him a shilling and a feed for them.—Tho prisoner hero pleaded guilty to tho larceny, but not to the burglary.—Hii Worship said there clearly was no barglary, as the things were taken before nine o'clock in the evening. —Mr. Naughton asked for a further remand until Saturday, before sentence was pronounced, to givo the police further opportunity for recovering the remainder of th<! property.
