The schooner Jane returned from Tauranga yesterday morning, but brings no ]ater intelligence from Opotiki than that received on Monday last by the schooner Fortune. A number of Arawas were in readiness to leave for Opotiki by the Sturt, which was hourly expected from Napier. Mr. Clarke, Resident Magistate, had not returned from Maketu, but was daily expected-
