Tm-: steamers Midge, Tauranga, and Enterprise, returned from tho Thames ou Saturday morning. The news is most During the past week gold has been struck in several new claims. The Midge brought; up 200 ozs. from Tookey's claim, and about 100 ozs. in small parcels. The Enterprise was also tho bearer of 200 ozs. from JN T o. 2 Kurunui claim, and other small parcels are expected during the week. Hunt and Co.'s claim is turning out immensely rich, and will very probably have about 2,000 ozs. ready for tho steamer on the 2nd instant.
