ARRIVAL OF THE MOA. The brig Moa, Captain Robertson, arrived in harbour last night, after a tedious passage of 16 days from Sydney, bringing a full cargo and several passengers. The Moa sailed from Sydney on Sunday, the sth instant, and experienced easterly and southeast -winds until making the New Zealand coast. Sighted Capo Brett on Monday morning, at 9 a.m., and has had light S.E. and 8.5.8. winda on the coast. The Mo:i brings the following passengers and c<--go:—

The ship Mermaid, which, sailed from London, in company with the ship Maori, arrived at Lyttleton on the nth instant, after a eood passnijd of 93 days. The s.s. Batger, which sailed from T.yttelton for this port on the 10th inst., has the following cargo: 4130 bags wheat. G6 do. oats, 9 do. beans, 196 do. flour, Grigg; 170 sacks flour, Brownell and Co. The N.Z.S.DT. Company obtained the contract for carrying the mails between the Maoukau and thi3 port, between Auckland and Port Chalmers, and Port Chalmers and Manukau. The Panama ' ompany have also obtained three services, viz., from Wellington to thu Bluff, from the Bluff to Wellington, and from Wellington to Auckland. The services are for the ensuing six months, but the amount of subsidies haß not expired. The s.s. star of the South, hence, arrived at Napier on the 12th inst. The Zillah.—The schooner Zillab, Captain Wyati, cleared at the Customs yesterday with a full general cargo for Tahiti, Borotonga, and the South Sea Islands, aud will take her departure early tht3 morning. The BiTi.—The brig Eita, will clear at the Customs for Sydney. Captain Hobinson, of (he Moa, will take command of this veseel, and thj Moa, in command of Captain Trayte, will shortly s-iil for the South Sea Telands. The schooner Ivanhoe sailed for Mongonui last ""oinj with a general oargo and the. following passengers : —ftlr. George Bitchie, Master John Reveridge, Mr. Te ites, Mrs. McLaren, and four others. Tub Cso-wk.—The brig Crown, hence, arrived at Sydney on the 2nd inetant, after a passage of twentythree days. The Sydney Horning Herald says:— " The brig Crown, signalled yesterday, from Auckland, is originally from, Batavia, via Adelaide, her cargo beius a portion of that shipped in Batavia. She eailed from Auckland on the 12th ultimo, but hud to put back, and did not finally clear until the 16th ultimo. Since then she has had calms and head windu." The KaiEOuba.—The P.TX.Z. and A.H.M!. Co's, s.e. Kaikoura, arrived at Sydney from Wellington on the 2nd inetant. The Pakbha.—The brig Pakeha, Captain Robinson, was announced to leave Sydney for this port with dispatch, on the 4th instant.
